This high-grade black tea is from the Manjushree Estate situated near the historical city of Sonari, in the Sibsagar district of upper Assam. It's a whole leaf, fine pluck tea with golden tips. It is not as malty as many Assams, but has grassy notes and a sweet finish. If you like to drink your tea black, this is a great choice - there's no astringency.
