Natural Tea

Natural Teas are very high in antioxidants from Estates that do not use pesticides or herbicides. When making Natural Tea, the leaf is fed into the top of the dryer, shifted back and forth along the length of the drying bed and exited near the "dryer mouth". Unlike most single estate loose leaf teas, Natural tea is produced and shipped in an ungraded state. As such, a typical Natural tea is comprised of every grade normally produced by the estate. This might range from the intensely robust Dust grades right up to the more mildly flavored Pekoe grades. The subsequent blending of leaf character, all from one Estate origin, produces a cup that is rich, exceptionally round and loaded with nuance.
